Home Early years The Sweet Solo Sessions Discography Guestbook
Suzi Quatro

In 2006 Steve Grant and I worked with Suzi, we wrote, played and produced some songs on her album "Back To The Drive".

Paddy Goes To Holyhead

In the beginning of the 80's I produced some demos for a NWOBHM band called Weapon who were fronted by Danny Hynes. Later in the mid 80's he formed a new band called Paddy Goes To Holyhead. I would get up and play with them occasionally. This lead to me producing and playing on some songs including a single. We went into London Bridge Studios record The Green Green Grass of Home and I was invited to join the band on a more permanent basis, which I did until the Sweet went back on the road full time.

The Party Rockers SHA-BOOM covered SWEET's 'Fox On The Run' for their 1988 debut 'R.O.C.K'. I was also on hand to add some authenticity acting as producer and I also tackled production for the follow up, 1990's 'Let's Party', which included Ole Evenrude on backing vocals.

Ole Evenrude

Ole Evenrude's debut album This Ole Town was produced by Geoff Downes. Mick Tucker & I did the backing vocals along with Stevie Lange who of course appeared on the Sweets Level Headed Album. Mick also plays the drums on this album.
Mick Tucker, Mal McNulty and Myself worked on the Idolator album at the same time as we were recording the bonus tracks for Live at the Marquee. Pete Wingfield who plays keyboards had worked with me many years before on Lady Starlight my first solo single.

This was recorded in 1987 to support a charity in aid of babies and children of the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, UK. I appear on vocals on this single along with Noddy Holder, Jimmy Nail, Danny Hynes, Mal McNulty, Bernie Shaw, Phil Lanzon, Boy George etc.

Robert Lloyd

Robert Lloyd is the lead singer with The Nightingales and formerly with The Prefects. When The Nightingales split in 1986, Lloyd embarked on a solo career, signing to Virgin Records in 1989 and releasing the album Me and My Mouth. The album featured Steve Nieve and Pete Thomas (of The Attractions), me and Craig Gannon (formerly of The Smiths among others).

Jim Keays

I co-produced two singles for Jim I also played guitar and sang backing vocals on them.

I played guitar on Tacye's version of Love Is Like Oxygen from 1991. Tacye continues: "Cool! I hadn't heard that for ages and it was really good to re-visit the recording. Andy was a star through out the whole process."

The glam-rock band Angel was a concept from me and Mick Tucker. The band was formed in 1974 from the members of Pebbles. Angel released 2 singles through Polydor and both compositions were written by me who co-produced them with Mick Tucker

A II Z was a heavy metal band founded in 1979 who released two singles produced by me.

I produced their only album from this little known band Sussex.

The Monroes was a Norwegian rock duo that held significant popularity in Norway in the 1980s and I played guitar on their 1985 album Face Another Day.

Chris Bradford and myself are on backing vocals on the songs "Hands to Heaven" And "If I Fall". I also played guitar on one of the songs on the "All That Jazz" album.

Greg Lake

Chris Bradford and I wrote the song "Famous Last Words" for The Album Manoeuvres, we are both on backing vocals for this particular song.

I co-produced this release with Kris Gray. It was recorded mainly at my own studio Frida Park West. Though this CD is credited to Sabrejet it is actually the first solo project by Darrell Bath, who has been a member of the U.K. Subs Dogs D'amour and the Ian Hunter Band.
